Hi these are my first pair of shoes :)
I originally created just the shoes but when I put hem on I could not stand how my Second Life feet looked in them. :(
So I created a pair of sculptie feet to go inside my sculptie shoes! :)

Thanks to Demeter Lane, a freelance script write who bought a pair, she wrote me a script that now lets you make the feet, toenails, shoe straps, shoe soles and heels any color your want!
The shoes come with a HUD that allows you to easily control a whole bunch of preset colors and 5 different shoe sizes. See list of features below.

Another huge improvement was made by Siddean Munro a fantastic shoe and skin designer herself who was so kind to help me by coming up with the new shoe base that allowed the shoes to move much more naturally when dancing and sitting than the ones I originally created. Please stop by her place and see the wonderful things she has made at her store SLink. :) SLink, CG Heart (33, 32, 23)

I also like to thank 3than Starostin who helped me with much of the original scripts and
Todd Borst who made the animated HUD and adjustable shoe sizes possible with use of his program Puppeteer. :D

You can get FREE demos at my shop Pretty Feet & Skins by Cathy or you can get them on SL Exchange.

FEATURES:
• HUD to be able to make quick & easy changes to your shoes and feet with preset colors.
• 60 preset skin tones for the feet. So matching your own close enough should not be a problem.
• 17 preset shoe colors that you can mix & match for over 4900 possible combinations.
• 22 preset toenail polish colors.
• 5 different shoe sizes for a more custom fit for your avatar.
• Color Customize feature. If you can't find the color you want on the HUD as long as you know the RGB values of the color you want you can have it on the feet, toenails, shoe straps, shoe soles or heels.

Enjoy! :D

Support Net Neutrality

The battle over internet freedom that is going on right now. Large corporations are fighting to charge us more money for web content we already get for free right now. For more information to to http://www.wearetheweb.org/

We already pay a fair price for internet access why should we be forced to pay more?

Stylish New Briefcase!!! LOL

Hi everyone this is kind of a departure for me. Normally I design female skins and have been for over a year. I have been playing around learning how to make sculpties and animating prims. What you see above is my first completed project. Since it does fold up onto a briefcase and you wear the briefcase I consider this still to be fashion. Just as a purse or handbag is apart of fashion. This is just fun fashion you can fly in. :D

The car is fully functional and seats up to 4 people. Glass opens and closes and engine has full sound effects. Four different sculpties went into building it.

You remember it from when you where a kid and always wanted one. Now you can! :D

Come by my shop and see it in person. You can make the floor model fold and unfold. Glass open and close and see the smoke rings. Then buy it. :D

PS if you like to hire me to make sculpties I am available. Just IM me Cathy Foil.

Skins by Cathy

Hi everyone this is my very first blog ever!
This is Aphrodite my second skin line that I have created for Second Life.

Both my skin lines Aphrodite and Athena now come with an adjustable makeup version and my new Innovative Eyebrow System. I have video tutorials on this blog but also at: http://skinsbycathy.blip.tv/

I am the only skin designer in Second Life, as far as I know, who has an adjustable makeup version for every skin I sell.

I am the only skin designer who has come up with my type of eyebrow system. The eyebrows are not apart of the skin. They are worn like you wear prim hair in Second life.

Second Life is a virtual world where you can be do or create anything you can imagine.
I create and sell skins for peoples character they control on screen called "Avatars".
The skin is a photo or bitmap that covers the Avatar like skin be that an image of human skin or feathers or scales anything you can imagine.

I chose to create human female skins. I have not made any male skins yet as there are far fewer customers for them in Second Life or SL as players call it.

Each skin made from scratch takes me at least 80 hours to complete.

You can teleport to my shop at:
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Cajeiri/8/84/26/

Hope to see you all there!

Below is a video tutorial I made on how to adjust the makeup of my adjustable makeup skins.
